Strengthen Your Role in Suicide Prevention
Provide those in attendance with a comprehensive educational presentation on practical means to reduce or prevent suicides in their community. Show how their varying roles as stakeholders can accomplish this and thus demonstrate the important role of each of these stakeholder groups can have in reducing suicides.
Doors open 8:00 AM, Formal session 8:30 to noon.
Information tables will be set up by various organizations in the community active in Suicide Prevention.

Presentation, Coordinated by Elena Tindall of Suicide and Crisis Services, Santa Clara
This presentation will go over the entire range of suicide prevention practices and proven techniques as they impact all stakeholders. Special attention will be paid to unique population groups, suicidal methods and means restriction and related issues such as bullying and stigma reduction.

We close the presentation with a brief description of how we will keep participants informed thru the Network and point out that it will provide online access to updated information on a variety of suicide prevention topics.
Noon -- adjourn with networking invitation to tables of all organizations represented and an invitation to an informal lunch (no host).
